Usage notes

  • Export PNG at @2x to keep text sharp on ProMotion devices.
  • Align safe areas to 44px top / 34px bottom to avoid sensor cutouts.
  • Keep gradients under 30% contrast to prevent banding after App Store compression.
  • Upload at least one landscape canvas when supporting iPad multi-window.

FAQ

Do I still need 5.5-inch uploads?

Yes. Apple still surfaces 5.5-inch assets on older hardware and in some regions, so keep one legacy canvas in your set.

Can I upload landscape screenshots for portrait-only apps?

You can, but Apple will letterbox portrait UI on landscape canvases. Provide a dedicated layout instead of rotating your design.
